First off, I know this practice was abandoned some 30 years ago for security reason, but it still exists in ACL's today. Currently if I were to try to use "10.10.1.1/0.5.0.1" it would be returned as an invalid network. This is because we don't use this method of handling networking anymore. However, many switches, including Cisco, still accept the 0.5.0.1 hostmasks in their ACL's, just not for network segments.
Could this be added as a feature?
