Is Puro dead?

Last commit was 6 months ago. No communication. PRs are just open. Issues are piling up. Pretty grave issues too that make it impossible to use for production. Will have to switch back to FVM.
Or maybe can onboard some new maintainers because this a very cool project and idea otherwise

I agree. Since issue fixes are moving very slowly here, switching to FVM might be the smart thing to do. I still like Puro more, and I know this is an open-source project where the developer has their own life and commitments. But when a package is sold as a solution for version management, we expect that the important problems will get fixed reliably.

I think I'm going to move back to FVM and raincheck on this for another day. Using puro pub run instead of puro dart run is already (apparently) causing issues in packages with generatables:

Hi! I'm still alive, really sorry about the lack of updates. I have a full time job and barely use Flutter anymore sadly, the open issues are also not trivial to fix. As for the open PRs, I've glanced at them but they are not ready for merging and don't fix the immediate major issues.

I will try to get puro back into the usable state when I have some free time in the next few weeks (:

I believe this ticket be closed, since it doesn't really qualify as an issue as far as the project is concerned.
