record pcm data is zero

git clone this code, run ok. but i can't hear anything , and then find recorded pcm data is 0 and played 0 data. so i try to read a local pcm data for playing data instead of recorded data, that's ok. why recorded pcm data is 0?

I have run into the same question.
After search as many info as possible,finally I find the reason.

The are two audio input on my mac,MacBook Pro Microphone and Movai Sound Grabber,current choose is the second one ,which is a virtual device.

After change current input device to the first one, everything is ok.
