multiple .jar files fail to load

i've downloaded about 4 separate shimejis and only one will load. the others come up with the same message: Could not import any mascots from the specified archive(s). happens with both drag n drop and manual import. i can supply the links to the shimijees i used

i use Debian (SteamOS) and installed shijima-qt from flatpak. thanks!

You shouldn't be importing the jar file, you should be importing the whole archive. However, it appears that the Kit and Spraypaint shimeji have an archive format that is currently unsupported by libshimejifinder. Thanks for the bug report, I'll look into it 👍

that is so weird. i imported the .jar file itself for the tophat shimeji and that worked. i also tried importing both the .jar and entire files for the three that didn’t work. what do you mean by importing the whole archive?

You should be able to select and import the zip/rar archive. I assume you extracted these files (jar, img, conf, etc.) from a zip/rar file. Instead of you extracting these files yourself, Shijima can do it for you.

And, importing the jar file should not have worked, that is really weird
