[Bug]: UI lag/micro-stuttering caused by Browser Extensions (e.g., Bitwarden)

What happened?

While this isn't a bug in XyOps, i wanted to report this for those who encounter the same issue.

I found that when using the xyOps web interface, the UI would stutter or hang every few seconds—especially while typing, during animations, or when moving items on the workflow grid.

After some troubleshooting, I discovered the Bitwarden browser extension was causing this. This can be resolved by adding the xyOps URL to the autofill excluded domain list (Settings -> Auto-fill -> Excluded Domains).

What browser are you using? Is this happening in Chrome?

I wonder what the heck the Bitwarden extension is doing that causes the lag. That is so strange. I suppose it may be because on the workflow editor page, there are a bunch of editable text fields located "above" it (for the title, icon, notes, etc.). Maybe Bitwarden keeps seeing those text fields and trying to autofill them? Not sure...

I suppose I could try to redesign the workflow editor so it occupies its own "page", separate from the form elements. But that's a rather large "v2" level change...

The problem occurs in Brave, Chrome and Egde. Which are all chromium. As of what i could find it seems Bitwarden is constantly searching for new input fields which causes these hickups.

It's not only happening in the workflow editor, i noticed it first while typing and when animations are shown, and when i started using the workflow editor i noticed it was i constant hickup avery few seconds.

For me the workaround by adding the url to the blocked domains is a great solution. So please save your time for other things 😁
