UUID error

it seems every time i want to connect for a second time the app throws an exception with the following message: "is it a serial device, or check the UUID..." if i force stop, clear the cache and reinstall the app it fixes the problem, but it keeps happening after the first successful connection.

One thing I've noticed with Android devices is that bluetooth is extremely fidgety and temperamental. I've seen the same problem you describe happen if I switch of the serial device without disconnecting on the Android device first. The only way bluetooth would work for me again in that case is by restarting the phone. Are you by any chance doing that?

I think in most cases, shutting down bluetooth and restarting the device should work. You shouldn't need to reinstall the app.

i do press disconnect, and i already tried turning off the BT of the android device, keeps happening.
after 10 to 15 minutes i was able to connect again without reinstalling or clearing the cache of the app.

any ideas?

It's hard to debug without the actual phone at hand. Can you try installing
catlog from the play store and send me the logs when it shows the error?

But if it is a device specific bug there might be very little that i can do.

Can you send me a link to the serial bt device that you are connecting to?
Maybe its a problem with that. If you have another Android device lying
around, could you please try with that as well and let me know if you see
the same issue?
