[feature request] Do not require the user to specify an interface

Awesome WM config file should know nothing about current machine network interfaces.
That is not portable way.
I just want to push my configs to the repo and be able to make them work on another machine without any tweaking (I have enough things to tweak on fresh Arch Linux machine).

Why can't you calculate your interface with some shell exution instead of hardcoded string if you have a generic rule how to get it?

Sure thing, I can parse ip link output. But that not what user must do (most users expect working widget out of the box). All the interfaces should be parsed automatically - that would be a cool feature. Do you agree?

FWIW, I just submitted a PR that does this. Just don't specify interfaces, and it will parse ip link every time it refreshes. :)

@mariodsantana as I understand you parse interface only for wired connection or wireless should also works?

@pltanton - yes, wireless interfaces are detected, but there's no wireless-specific info in the popup or anything.
