Hey, I'm Mark - very much interested in using code mode pervasively rather than raw MCP.

one issue I'm hitting that might just be outside the scope: i have a bunch of stdio servers that use ambient information like CWD to determine what to do (beads-mcp, for instance, uses it to decide which database to use). Is there a plan to support stdio too? I recognise it's tricky but for the majority of my uses, it's much more convenient both to call stdio servers, and to have a codemode server that executes as a stdio process so it inherits all that ambient stuff.

(i have implemented this and it seems to work quite well (https://github.com/lambdamechanic/pctx ) but i'll wait for your response before lodging an actual PR, not sure if this is something you want to support.)

so, pctx seems to work very well when the agent actually uses it, but it often seems to ignore it. Might it be worth packaging some kind of skill or prompt or recommended addition to AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md, to suggest that it should favour using PCTX for certain kinds of problems?
