problem updating e17

When i try easy_e17.sh -u it starts smooth but it doesn't find the e_bus repo

Yes. Everything has moved to git long ago.

1. Here is the current repo - https://phab.enlightenment.org/diffusion/
2. E17/EFL has changed a lot. The current git head of e18 doesn't depend on e_dbus at all. It depends on some other eldbus stuff.
3. There are some new scripts which take care of git. I don't know the current status of either of them since I stopped updating e17 from svn/git.
   1. easy_efl.sh - This is being written by the same author as easy_e17.sh. Get it from here: http://omicron.homeip.net/svn/easy_efl/
   2. git_e17 - This installs e17 (also e18 perhaps) from a different git repo. Get it from here - https://github.com/ObiWahn/git_e17

I must add - be careful in updating e17 to e18. A lot has changed. The libraries have been all consolidated into one big repo called efl. e18 is compositing only - there is no noncomposited desktop. If you don't need to update e17, then don't do it.
