This is a proposed enhancement.
It would be nice to have an option to include the filters in a dropdown panel accessible via the search icon from within the search bar, let's say at the far right. So that filters won't take any place, and so that we could create more than a couple of them. We could even organize them in groups if needed.
I can visually mockup something to make my point if someone feels adventurous to make a pr.
