I am seeking feedback about my recent changes to the accessibility contributor doc and to the pull request template: #3573. Please add a comment there if you have feedback!
I am one of the summer Open Source Interns working on the p5 editor, and my main focus has been color-based accessibility. As part of this project, I updated the accessibility contributor doc with more information about color and added a checkbox to the pull request template for checking that the changes adhere to accessibility guidelines.
I have some academic background in accessible design and did a lot of preparatory reading, but I am not myself color blind and do not have low vision, and I am not an expert in this area by any means. If there are problems with the content or phrasing, I would love to hear about them!
