Hi,
when trying out Make me Admin we have an issue on some PCs:
- Admin rights are not removed automatically after install through Intune and subsequent reboot.
- After admin rights are removed one can start programs in admin mode with only Allow/deny prompt. User is reported as non-admin in Accounts.
- When admin rights are given Allow/Deny is also the only prompt. User is admin in accounts.
All the 3 PCs where this has been the issue Admin by Request has been installed and removed before testing Make me Admin.
On 2 PCs that has not had AbR installed Make me Admin works as expected. Rights are removed as configured, one must be admin to run admin-tasks and credentials are prompted for.
Registry settings are confirmed the same on all PCs.
Entra only, not hybrid.
I suspect AbR has set some registry values that needs to be removed for a default behavior for Make me Admin. Does anyone know what these settings might be?
