# psqlpy-stress
2+
3+
Here you can load test a `psqlpy`, `asycnpg` and `psycopg` drivers in order to compare their performance.
4+
5+
## How to run
6+
7+
1. First of all you have to launch `grafana` and `influxdb` that are present in docker-compose.yaml file.
8+
You can lanch it via:
9+
10+
```bash
11+
docker compose up
12+
```
13+
14+
2. Log in to IfluxDB. Default credential are `admin`:`admin`. Save token that will be shown to you after login.
15+
3. Create a bucket inside InfluxDB named `psqlpy-stress-bucket`.
16+
4. Connect InfluxDB to grafana.
17+
host: `http://influxdb:8086`
18+
database: `psqlpy-stress-bucket`
19+
user: `admin`
20+
password: is your token that you saved at `step 2`
21+
22+
5. Import a dashboard to a grafana, named `dashboad.yaml`, located in root directory, where you can find measured values such as:
23+
24+
- p99
25+
- p95
26+
- p90
27+
- p50
28+
- mean
29+
- p50 rps
30+
31+
6. Run poetry install in root
32+
7. Launch application via
33+
34+
```bash
35+
python -m psqlpy_stress.app
36+
```
