Why host the m3u8's on the CDN if they're also available on Wayback Machine?

You can patch the ts urls that are in the m3u8 playlist on-the-fly via js to use absolute paths instead of relative

Example: https://web.archive.org/web/20250516013527id_/https://d2nvs31859zcd8.cloudfront.net/080fb91faff03ddbe6e5_35936871_2440383140_2ffd1225-55db-4050-a233-c7b019ef9bc3/1080p60/index-dvr.m3u8 instead of https://archive.speedrun.club/cdn/2440383140.m3u8

rewriting shouldnt even be necessary, it should just pick up the right path from the relative file, just an oversight 🤷‍♀️

one benefit of rewriting is it makes vlc playback a little easier, you can just download & load the m3u8 instead of pasting the url in the network streaming tab
