Hi everyone, I’m Sebastian (@sbrandstaeter)!
I’ve been part of the QUEENS community since its early days in late 2018, and it’s incredibly exciting to see both the project continue to grow. Alongside contributing to technical and software improvements, I’m especially passionate about building and expanding the community around QUEENS.
In my research, I focus on enabling probabilistic multi-query analyses—such as uncertainty quantification, global sensitivity analysis, and inverse problems like parameter identification— for computational models with machine learning as a key enabling technology. My work is driven by applications ranging from advancing our understanding of complex diseases to improving scientific computing tools and supporting the design of novel materials.
I look forward to connecting with more of you and contributing to what lies ahead!
