hello I'm confused on how this works

I have python IDLE installed on my PC, and it's version 3.10.11. It keeps saying "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'demucs' I've tried 'pip install demucs' but it didn't work

Try this

Check Python version in different contexts

python --version
python3 --version

Check where pip is installing

pip --version
pip3 --version

python -m pip install demucs

I think you can just

python --version
python -m pip --version

then:

python -m pip install demucs

If that doesn't work, try it with python3:

python3 -m pip install demucs

I got this error:

Did you download your Python version from https://www.python.org/downloads/?

You could try that and then doing
python -m pip install demucs

If you want to keep your current Python setup, you could enable Windows Long Path:

Press Win + R, type gpedit.msc, press Enter
Navigate to: Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → System → Filesystem
Find "Enable Win32 long paths"
Double-click it, select "Enabled"
Click OK and restart

I am using Python IDLE and this device kinda restricts other python apps, so I can only use IDLE
Edit: Edit Group Policy and Windows Run are also blocked by my admin
