Dear Richie and Thetis developers,

I am using Thetis with ANAN-100D in Japan.

According to Japanese radio regulations, amateur stations are strictly prohibited from transmitting on the 5 MHz band.
For JARD certification (Japanese radio equipment conformity), I must prove that my station can never transmit on 5 MHz.

Currently, Thetis does not provide a reliable way to permanently disable TX on 5 MHz.
Even if we set TX power to 0% or remove 5 MHz from the GUI, it is still possible to transmit by direct frequency input.

Feature Request:
Please add a function to completely disable TX in the 5.0–5.5 MHz range.
For example:

  • A "Band TX Table" where each band can be set to TX enable/disable
  • Or, a fixed TX inhibit (hard-coded) for 5 MHz in the "JA" regional settings

Why important:

  • Japanese users need this function to comply with local regulations
  • It helps us to obtain JARD certification for ANAN radios
  • It avoids the risk of accidental illegal transmissions

This feature would make Thetis much safer and easier to certify in Japan.

Thank you very much for considering this request.
