Cant add a rewrite rule from source install

Hey! I did a chrome store install of this extension, and it worked great. I decided to install it from source to see how it works, and it doesn't allow me to add a new rewrite rule from source. No errors in anything in the console, just when I hit the "add" button, nothing happens!

Chrome Version 41.0.2272.118 (64-bit) (Up to date)
