Allow use_dir= parameter to create a new directory

...and then destroy it at the end.

So if use_dir exists, it gets used but nothing gets deleted.

If it does not exist, it gets created, and everything gets destroyed, unless you specify save=True

Not entirely sure this isn't dangerous, still thinking it through.
