Event verifiers continue to verify event after the request timeout

Bip340 and Rust verifiers continue to verify events even after the request timeout.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open your CPU usage manager
2. Start a request on web with a limit of 500
3. See CPU usage at 100% during more than 10 seconds wich means the verifier is not stopping on timeout

• OS: Linux mint
• Browser: Brave, Firefox, chrome

This bug is especialy visible on web because verifiers are slow.
