Install libemu failed

hello, I am working on installing Phoneyc on Ubuntu 12.04 32bit. Installing libemu is one step of all, but it failed.
like:

root@ubuntu:/home/lyb/Downloads/libemu-trunk# git clone git://git.carnivore.it/libemu.git libemu
Cloning into 'libemu'...
fatal: unable to connect to git.carnivore.it:
git.carnivore.it[0: 192.150.94.232]: errno=Connection refused

And I also can NOT visit the web of http://libemu.carnivore.it/ or the blog of http://carnivore.it/.
Does it work now, or already was closed? Can you help me?
