Restlet Framework 2.6.0 released!

Hi all, we are happy to announce that version 2.6.0 is generally available from Maven Central, with no change since RC2 beside the updated user documentation and download page. Those were the objectives & key results for this major release:

• Ensure Long Term Support including key dependencies
  • Upgrade to Java 17 LTS
  • Upgrade to Jakarta EE 9, Jetty 12, Spring 6.2 and GWT 2.12
• Embrace latest HTTP innovations
  • Support HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 via Jetty
  • Support RFC 7578 for multipart representations, server-side and client-side, via Jetty
• Facilitate maintenance and community contributions
  • Move examples to dedicated repository easier to clone for users
  • Refactoring unit tests to follow Maven organization (test in each module)

Also, we have continuing work on the 2.7 branch with the release of Milestone 2 including the removal of the deprecated Servlet extension and related classes in the Spring extension, plus removal of deprecated methods in Restlet API and internal HTTP and FTP connectors. In addition, the Jetty client and server HTTP connectors were merged into Restlet Engine as new default connectors and the Jetty extension removed.

Hi, thanks for the hard work, especially the support of HTTP/2, our front-end devs where waiting for it,

Just a side note, the links to the restlet.talend.com site (here and in the main readme.md page) do not work, by now.
