I'm excited about this project. It would be interesting to formally analyze the security of rgpm alongside another popular vault-based manager.

I definitely like vaultLessPass and skelePass. I know another suggestion by @irremotus was skelekey, which is funny you both thought of that.

I think vaultLessPass describes it well, but doesn't really flow off the tongue imo. I'm going to start thinking about variations of vaultLessPass/volatilePass.

What about RanPass? Short from Random Password... While it isn't really random (cause that would be a bummer), it shows that each password is different.

Some variations:

• UniqPass
• RandPwd
• RandPass

I like autoPass. What about aPass, could mean autoPass, could mean "no passwords"?

I'm good with autoPass. The only issue I see with it is that there was another paper that labeled their password manager implementation with the same name:

Maqbali, F. A. and Mitchell, C. J. (2017). AutoPass: An automatic password gen-

Is that going to cause any problems?

Well, good catch Owen. I’m hesitant to use a noun that’s already taken (in this case). I like aPass over others that we’ve come up with — it’s simple, short, descriptive, and easy to say. Hopefully it’s not taken. ~Evan
