a means to do container CI

There is a single user mode on boot-up, but no mode that forgoes any GUI. Perhaps a serial console mode would give you that. But, still, that would not help you build a Docker container that builds BaCKSTEP.

1. start with a Debian image
2. build Previous on it
3. export DISPLAY someplace when you can see it
4. invoke the build using ~me/.profile as a spiritual ENTRYPOINT

Now there's a Make-centric action and a configure and Makefile for it.
Next, make sure the NFS share has the build files in it.

I borked stuff by moving tarballs on the web services. I'll at least fix that.

The vagaries of what SDL will do in a Docker or what-have-you container make this a possibly endless science project. A more tenable approach might be to have an Action make an archive and send a notification to a running emulator somewhere which will download the archive and do the things.
