[Feature request] Bursting when 4 or less events are queued #12

Hi!
In terms of conserving energy on sleepy battery-driven devices, it would be nice to have the possibility to burst events if there's 4 or less events in queue, recovering while the device is sleeping anyways. I know that it might be a small difference, but for units that are out for multiple years, it can really help!
