Replace deprecated request and request-promise dependencies with axios

Summary
This project currently uses deprecated HTTP libraries that are no longer maintained and bring known security risk through their dependency chain. We should migrate to axios and remove all request-related packages.

Problem

request and request-promise are deprecated
They can introduce vulnerable transitive dependencies
They also increase maintenance risk for future Node and tooling updates
