Simplified controls option blocked on manual controls mode by "jump to waypoint" menu

When selecting a locomotive in manual control mode, clicking the gear icon in vanilla allows the user to check the "simplified controls" option. With this mod enabled, that option becomes completely inaccessible and the only way I'm able to toggle simplified controls is by temporarily uninstalling the mod.
