Mistranslations into Portuguese

Hey. Hopefully this isn't cumbersome, I've been using the app for quite a bit now, and while I like it, I'm not very happy with the translation into Portuguese it got. I'm currently glossing over the .lang files to see if I can fix them.

Here's a few mistranslations I've noticed:

• "Update pointers" should be "Atualizar ponteiros" and not "Ponteiros de atualização". If "update" is "foo" and "bar" is "pointeirs", that's like saying "bar of foo" instead of "to foo the bar".
• "To file end" and others should be "Até o final do arquivo" instead of "Ao final", since "até o" indicates place iwhereas "ao" indicates time, if I'm not mistaken.
• A personal nitpick, but in Brazil (assuming this tool is meant to be translated into Brazilian Portuguese), we usually just loan "encoding" from English as-is instead of "codificação". Inversely, we translate "extrair" instead of saying"dump".
• In the communities I'm a part of, we say "romhacking" (without capitalization) instead of "hack de ROM".
• Currently, "character" is being translated as "fictional character" instead of "writing character'. Change all instances of "personagem" to "caractere".
• You might want to specify if the tool is in Brazilian or European Portuguese.

Don't take my suggestions as gospel though, I suggest that you post this tool to Brazilian reverse engineering/translations/retrodev/romhacking communities and ask them for second opinions.

There may be other ones but right now that's all I can think of.

Personally I'd suggest that you use a computer-assisted translation ("CAT") tool like Crowdin or Weblate so you can manage translations more easily, though that might be overkill for such a small project. And again, don't take this suggestion as gospel.

Oh god... I'm so embarrassed... I've tried to use some kind of automatic translation. I DID perform reviews, but it's hard to keep an eye of everything – for now there's about 400 strings in total. Actually I'm not sure everything is correct there in Russian 🙈

So I've fixed Portuguese a bit in the dev branch. Although I have some questions:

1. O encoding or A encoding?
2. dump (not veb) = ??

1. Gendering of loanwords is highly inconsistent in Portuguese. For example, "meeting" is a common word in corporate speak, and I've seen people say both "o meeting" and "a meeting". For now, just leave it as "o encoding" I guess.
2. As a noun, yeah? As a noun you can use "dump". It's just when it gets verbed that we say "extrair".

Also, please don't use MTL to translate the app. Gen AI hurts the environment, and while I'm guilty of using it in past projects myself, I've learnt from my mistakes and decided to never use it anymore.
