NEO 800-MX update interval

Hey guys,
First of all I want to say a big THANK YOU for this amazing project. It took me a bit to set eveything up, but thanks to the goood documentation it now works like a charm. :-)

The only thing which still bothers me is the update interval of the data logger of my NEO 800-MX inverter. By default this is set to 5 minutes, but I want this to be 1 minute. I am able to change it, either by the Shine Phone app or by logging into the Growatt site. Unfortunately this resets every night to the default 5 minutes so I have to change it again and again every day.

Has anyone of you experience with this and knows how to change the value permanently?

If not: Is there a way to change this value via MQTT command, so maybe I can do this automatically in Home Assistant or at least create a button for that?

Are you able to send a dump?
Enable the cloud option, start dump in protocol, change interval in Shine app (from 5 to 1, wait, than back to 5), stop the dump.
Maybe we can find useable Data for make it available in GroBro

Have you tried following:

in GroBro, Cloud on and Neo full access to internet. Than change your value in the shine-App. After changing, cut off the internet connection for the Neo in your Router and set GroBro Cloud off. That should work, because Neo has no more Internet connection anymore and can´t change anything which is coming from Growatt. On the other hand it might be possible that they change this value via firmware settings we do not have any influence on. Maybe you can check that

They change it remotely after some time. The value is transmitted as part of a config message and after retrieval Growatt sets it back to the 5 minutes.

I changed it to 1min on my NEO with internet connection cut off and it persisted.

which Register you used to set it without app? Maybe usefull for Noah as well and I can check here

I set it over Bluetooth with a self written python script, which emulates the ShinePhone app (and a little more).

Thank you for hint with the internet connection. Unfortunately I am not at home the whole week, but will try it at a later time and give you feedback.

Dumb question: What is the best practice to cut off the NEO from accessing the internet? I mean it still needs a connection to access the DynDNS address of the MQTT server in order to send its data. Should I set up a whitelist for the NEO in my Fritzbox and only allow the address of the MQTT server? Or should I use a DNS service (in my case Adguard) to rewrite the DynDNS address to my local network and then cut off the NEO completely from the internet?

I've seen this configuration in my Fritzbox and that's really easy. But I guess before that I have to change the DNS setting for my MQTT server (currently using a DynDNS address) to point to my local network so my NEO can still send data to it, correct?

I´ve done nothing else. Just cut off the Neo and Noah from Internet. And of course in GroBro switch off Cloud access. Crosschecked it in the Shine-App showing Neo and Noah offline.
Noah and Neo is reachable for the MQTT, because you switch off only Internet for these two devices. Locally they are fully reachable.
