Z.AI provider fails with “Usage request failed. Check your connection.” despite valid API key

Description

I'm trying to use the Z.AI provider with OpenUsage, but it fails with the following error:

Usage request failed. Check your connection.

Steps to Reproduce

• Verified that the API works with direct calls → ✅ working

• Tried different environment variable names:

  • ZAI_API_KEY
  • Z_AI_API_KEY
  • GLM_API_KEY

• Restarted OpenUsage after setting env vars

• Confirmed network connectivity is fine

Expected Behavior

OpenUsage should successfully fetch usage data using the Z.AI provider (same API key works via direct API calls).

Actual Behavior

• UI shows:

  Usage request failed. Check your connection.
  

• No usage data is returned
