feature Request: Indication that hack is being used

It's a bit hard to know if the camera is doing anything with the sdcard on boot up.

possible to make it do something distinctive to know that our hack is being used?

• flash lights in unique way?
• say something?
• emit a webook (i guess i could do this myself since there's some bash scripts there)

I ended up getting it working by making the app drive the camera to format the 32gb sdcard.

Previous to that i'd used gnome-disks to format the card to 4gb, 8gb, 16gb single first partition. spent hours not getting anywhere.

finally tried making the app drive the camera to format the drive... ended up working.

So i now see that it looks like you copy a silent mp3 to a bunch of places.

I guess the lack of voice is the indicator.

as far as UX goes though, it's a bit ho hum yeah?

Since wget is on the hack image, i can also run wget to send a payload to a homeassistant webhook. (still trying to get that part working)
