Just an idea. I like having contact images for a faster overview.

You could use services like Gravatar or just favicon lookups on the sending domain.

Nice idea. I'd lean toward favicon lookups over Gravatar since we don't want to send email address hashes to a third party. Fits better with the privacy-first approach.

@rathlinus's implementation using domain favicons looks like a good starting point. I'll look into integrating something similar.
