Lots of Errors Thrown on Windows Install

I don't really know what I'm doing, so that's almost certainly a problem, but when I run build.py from the Command prompt, where build.py is installed in a root directory I created (which I take to mean any directory I have designated to hold build.py and the resulting Cabbage files), it starts with immediate syntax warnings, and then errors that "'arch' is not recognized as an internal or external command." Then after finding CSound and the ASIO SDK, it seems to have trouble with various site packages, namely urllib3 and requests. I have checked to ensure both of those are in their latest versions.

What am I doing wrong?

Looks like there is an issue with the certificates for the remote URLs. If you have build Cabbage on indows before, you could try building with the --packageType="Minimal" option. That will stop the python script from trying to download additional resources. But this will only work if you alreay have those pacakges locally.

Thanks for responding. Yes, I have installed it before. In fact, it is currently installed on my system but from a couple of years ago, and I was trying to get the latest version. Didn't want to uninstall the old one, in case I couldn't make this work.

I tried the --packageType="Minimal" option, and it avoided the initial syntax error and the "arch" not recognized error, but everything after Found ASIO SDK gave the same errors.

Is there an update method that does not require a full (re)build?

It's definnitely an issue with the remote sever. I'm looking into it. In the meantime, this is the code that is attempting to fetch online resources.

You can probably just comment it out, if you already have the vst sdk installed at C:/SDKs/VST_SDK/VST3_SDK/pluginterfaces
