I am also facing this issue. I will share what I observed, it may be wrong but thinking may be helpful also. It happens when we update the value of an existing key like below.
setString(String key, String value)
whenever we call this method a new value is added to randomKeyList. And this causes some index mismatch issues when we call getString(String key). I observed that size of randomKeyList getting increased on each setString(String key, String value) call. So I updated the setString(String key, String value) with an extra check "if already a value is present for key, instead of adding a new random Key to randomKeyList, replace it with the new random Key in the randomKeyList". And instead of calling 'remove(String key)' I am calling setString(String key, 'no_data'). And it resolved my issue and now size of randomKeyList not increasing also. I didn't know is this is the correct way.
