NEI Fill Support for Crafting?

So, would it be possible to allow NEI to properly recognize the crafting slot so you can shift click the question mark to automatically fill in the recipes for crafting items? It's a little tedious if you craft a lot of stuff at once and have to keep checking recipes and manually putting them in.
