Looking further at your proposed cannon record sheet; could you please consider adding a comment on recording any sighting arrangements, either fixed or provision for (holes in base ring etc) particularly for carronades which are often quite complex. Dispart patch? Quarter sights?

Any holes through the base of the vent field indicate that a firing lock was expected
Dolphins?
