[Community Help Needed] Shopify Analytics

📊 Shopify Analytics Integration

Now that the new module system is in place, I'm looking to integrate a Shopify Analytics. This would include setting up a get/post server connection alongside supporting utils, components, and composables.

At this point, I’m unsure of the best approach, especially when it comes to structuring the core analytics integrations and managing client-server interactions. If any dev with experience in Shopify Analytics or analytics integrations in general has suggestions or can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate the help.

I've created a fork with a working 'Visitors Right Now' feature on the Live view. Haven't gotten active carts & checking out functionality to work yet, as I don't see this data coming through.

The implementation is partially written code and partially vibe coded, but it's looking pretty decent. Based it on the approach used in the react-hydrogen package.

Maybe you can use this as a reference of how things could be done?

Hey @pixelastronauts! Dude this is so cool!

I really like how you have the analytics logic within its own module - thats the exact reason why I created the modules folder haha. I'll take a look at this tomorrow and maybe start a very WIP PR for this feature. I also know a dev that has analytics working in a Nuxt environment (using the same template here) and hopefully will be meeting with him soon.

The is probably the main feature I want to implement, as its really the only major feature this template lacks compared to what Hydrogen offers.
