Theres plenty of saltbox / sandbox apps available.
This of course comes with challenges with upkeep and maintainability.
To keep the project maintainable and upto date.
Implement a mechanism to keep track of how many installs are of each application.
This can result in a research data for you to migrate a sandbox app to saltbox (If you feel its appropriate) or even put polls of remove apps as they are no longer either being maintained / being installed.
Describe any solutions you think might work
For each install reach out to a counter of some description to be able to count how many times an app has been installed.
This could just be a basic payload to a central located hosting platform or something.
This can also be opted in or out depending on your view.
