installation problem

Dear Admin,

I'm in trouble installing the InteractiveRosetta 2.2 on my macbook (OSX 11.5). When I finished the installation of wxPython InteractiveRosetta closes and when I open again it asks me to install again wxPython even if I've already done. This's blocking me on going ahead.

Please, do you have any tip?

Sorry for the delay. It sounds like wx isn't installing properly. Try importing in a python interpreter as below:
/usr/bin/python -c “import wx ; print wx.version()”
You'll probably get an ImportError of some sort. If not, it will say the version of wx which should be 3.0.2.0 osx-cocoa (classic)

If you do get the ImportError, try installing wxPython manually using the pkg file from this link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8786757/wxPython_El_Capitan/wxPython3.0-osx-cocoa-py.2.7.pkg . What could be happening for you is that OS X El Capitan no longer supports the package type that wxPython was originally made in, so it had to be manually repackaged for InteractiveROSETTA (See this for more details on that). However, it could be that the InteractiveROSETTA installer is still trying to install the old package. The link above should be for the repackaged version.
