Supported Fedora version(s)

Hi, I'm evaluating Omeka for integrating it with an existing Fedora 4.x. Since the README page speaks about datastreams, and some link point to Fedora 3.4.2, I don't understand if Fedora 4 is supported

Could you please give me some hint?

@agazzarini - We're in a similar place. I agree it appears via the docs that it's only supported via Fedora 3. And at a quick glance the code looks to be targeting Fedora 3. I could certainly be wrong. But I see nothing off hand that looks like an LDP/Fedora API connection.

Perhaps this is the intended plugin for Fedora 4: https://github.com/omeka-s-modules/FedoraConnector

@agazzarini When I last looked at this, Fedora 4 development hadn't event started! I'm not sure about future development on this plugin (it never quite got the usage we were hoping for). The FedoraConnector plugin @mcritchlow linked does work with Fedora 4, but requires the Omeka-S platform (not Omeka 2.x), and I'm not quite sure where that development effort stands.

Quite honestly if you're looking at Fedora 4 and have any real interest in Blacklight, I would urge you to check out Spotlight (http://spotlight.projectblacklight.org/) which has seen more active development. It is a completely different architecture, but on the plus side you don't have to deal with PHP 😄
