Course material for the Oxford MSc in Energy Systems Python Skills Course.
Provide the basic coding and data analysis skills necessary for the MSc in Energy Systems Course assignments and projects.
The course will:
- privide a basic introduction to python, typical conventions, and starter libraries for energy data analysis and visualization
- introduce version control and GitHub
- prepare students for the Energy Infrastructure module
The course does not:
- provide a complete knowledge of python
- teach the theory behind the libraries and tools used
The current course is taught by Dr Scot Wheeler and Prof. Sarah Sparrow. Course material has been prepared by Dr Scot Wheeler based on a previous version prepared by Dr Masaō Ashtine.
