I asked you this question at Bobkonf and I promised I'd clarify. To get a better idea of what I meant see the command line examples in the README of http://hackage.haskell.org/package/scc/, now that I refreshed the release and documentation.

I have abandoned the project years ago, but it may still have had some ideas worth stealing.
