I really like CinePlete, but I would love to see Trakt integration added.
Right now, when CinePlete searches for movie suggestions, it can suggest movies that I have already watched in the past. In my case, I often watch movies and then clean up my library afterward, so watched movies may no longer exist in Radarr or Jellyfin. Because of that, CinePlete has no way to know that I already watched them.
This means that when I review suggestions, I sometimes have to manually check my Trakt history to confirm whether a movie was already watched or not.
It would be very useful if CinePlete could connect to Trakt and use watch history when showing suggestions.
Possible behavior:
-
Do not suggest movies that are already marked as watched in Trakt.
-
Or still show them, but display a clear “Already watched” tag or warning.
-
Add a setting to choose between hiding watched movies or showing them with a watched label.
This would make the suggestions much more useful for people who clean their local library after watching movies but still track their history in Trakt.
