Add Trakt integration to identify already watched movies

I really like CinePlete, but I would love to see Trakt integration added.

Right now, when CinePlete searches for movie suggestions, it can suggest movies that I have already watched in the past. In my case, I often watch movies and then clean up my library afterward, so watched movies may no longer exist in Radarr or Jellyfin. Because of that, CinePlete has no way to know that I already watched them.

This means that when I review suggestions, I sometimes have to manually check my Trakt history to confirm whether a movie was already watched or not.

It would be very useful if CinePlete could connect to Trakt and use watch history when showing suggestions.

Possible behavior:

1. Do not suggest movies that are already marked as watched in Trakt.

2. Or still show them, but display a clear “Already watched” tag or warning.

3. Add a setting to choose between hiding watched movies or showing them with a watched label.

This would make the suggestions much more useful for people who clean their local library after watching movies but still track their history in Trakt.

This is a good feaature the only real issue is that the private Trakt can not be supported in OAuth according to their doc:"profile must be public"

That makes sense. I was mainly thinking about the use case where each user connects their own Trakt account so CinePlete can check their personal watched history.

If Trakt requires this to be done through a public OAuth app, then that is fine. I think the feature would still be useful even if it requires a normal Trakt login/authorization flow instead of a private token.

The main goal would be for CinePlete to know when a suggested movie already exists in the user’s Trakt watched history, then either hide it or show it with an “Already watched” label.

Yes, I can definitely test it.

I already use Trakt, so once the feature is ready I can connect my account and verify if CinePlete correctly detects movies from my watched history.

I can test both behaviors if you add them:

1. Hiding movies already watched on Trakt.

2. Showing them but marking them with an “Already watched” label.

Updated testing summary for the connected / watched badge behavior:

I was able to connect successfully with my Trakt account.

What is working:

• Trakt connects successfully as @elvis0288
• Refreshing the page keeps the Trakt connection active, so the tokens seem to be persisted correctly
• Watched movies from my Trakt history are showing the red Watched badge in the grids
• I checked the container logs and I do not see the Trakt Client Secret, access token, or refresh token printed
• Logs show Trakt connects and caches my watched history correctly:

Trakt: connected as @elvis0288
Trakt: 480 watched movies cached

Confirmed issue 1:
When I click Save Configuration while already connected to Trakt, the Trakt section changes back to the Client ID / Client Secret fields and the Connect via Trakt button instead of staying in the connected state.

Refreshing the browser after that shows the connection is still active, so this looks like a UI state issue after saving, not a token persistence issue.

Confirmed issue 2:
The watched badges do not apply correctly after a full browser refresh on a grid page.

Example:

1. Go to Directors
2. Watched badges show correctly
3. Refresh the browser while still on Directors
4. The watched badges disappear
5. Click Directors again from the left sidebar
6. The watched badges appear again

So the watched data seems to be available, but the overlay is not being applied on initial page load / browser refresh. It only applies again after navigating to the page from the sidebar.

Possible improvement:
If watched history is cached only when connecting or when the app starts, it may be useful to add a manual Refresh Trakt watched history button later. I tested marking a new movie as watched in Trakt after CinePlete was already connected, and it did not immediately update in CinePlete.

Additional detail for the Save Configuration issue:

I tested the Hide watched movies from all grids checkbox.

After enabling the checkbox and clicking Save Configuration, the Trakt section blanks out and shows the disconnected form again. The Client ID and Client Secret fields are empty, and the Connect via Trakt button is shown.

So the Save Configuration issue also happens when saving the hide-watched setting. It looks like saving config is not preserving/reloading the connected Trakt UI state properly.

Hide watched testing result:

I enabled Hide watched movies from all grids and clicked Save Configuration.

What works:

• After refreshing the browser, Trakt still shows connected as @elvis0288
• The hide-watched checkbox stays checked, so the setting is being saved

Issue:
Watched movies are still visible in the grids.

Examples:

• On the Directors page, watched movies still show with the red Watched badge even though Hide watched movies from all grids is enabled.
• On the Franchises page, watched movies also still show with the red Watched badge.

Expected:
When the hide-watched option is enabled, watched movies should be completely hidden from recommendation grids like Directors, Franchises, Classics, Suggestions, and Actors. Wishlist should be excluded based on the QA notes.
