Right now, semgrep execs for all tool calls. I believe it should be possible to run semgrep in the background and improve performance

• Is this something that semgrep's CLI can do already? Or is the feature missing there as well? I saw there's an rpc module in the CLI package.

• Another option would be import the CLI into semgrep-mcp rather than executing it. Has this been considered?

The pro/con (depending on the situation and POV) with the second option is that it'd tie mcp to specific versions of semgrep (which is probably better).

A middle ground could be found where ppl can tell MCP to use the semgrep daemon if there's one. Otherwise, it'll just import semgrep
