CMTime.positiveInfinity unavailable in Skip; how to seek to live edge for HLS?

player?.seek(to: CMTime.positiveInfinity)

However, in Skip, this API is not available and results in a compile-time error:

type 'CMTime' has no member 'positiveInfinity'

Because of this, it’s unclear how to correctly seek to the live position of an HLS stream when using Skip.

Is there another recommened way to seek to the live edge for HLS streams?

I think the way to implement this is to add the positiveInfinity constant to CMTime.swift, and then handle it in the Player.seekTo call at:

skip-av/Sources/SkipAV/AVPlayer.swift

	public func seek(to time: CMTime) {
	mediaPlayer.seekTo(time.value)
	}

Just passing a very large number might work to jump to the end of the stream, or else you might need to check it against the current duration and if it is greater then jump to the duration.

You should be able to try this out by forking this repository and adding the fork to your Xcode workspace (as described at https://skip.tools/docs/contributing/#local-libraries). Let me know if you need help experimenting with this.

Actually, for the live edge, you might need to use Player.seekToDefaultPosition
