Blender 5.0 Users Call For Your Aid

Blender 5.0 has been released and, as warned, they have removed Collada support in the main code. Several communities of Blender users still use Collada. It seems to me like it would be a good idea to:

1. Make sure this works on Blender 5.0, and update as needed
2. Document how to install it on 5.0, because I have no idea

Would very much appreciate it, and would be happy to test as a SecondLife + Blender user who still can use Collada as an interchange format. Thank you very much.
