Didn't want to "hijack" @ungive's suggestion ( #251 ), but in the same subject (cover images), another alternative to that loon ("local online") library would be pulling the data from Last.FM (especially if the scrobbler plugin is enabled too) or even Discogs.
A great example of implementation is how the Last.FM plugin for Vencord (Description) - (a custom Discord client), it pulls the album art image alongside the rest of metadata (since it "watches" the Last.FM API for any scrobbles of the user). While for Discogs i'm certain it requires an aplication key, i don't know if pulling images from Last.FM requires an application key too, perhaps @Yumiro and @Vendicated, authors of that plugin, could give a help to us if my suggestion is also interesting to you guys.
