Proposed direction:

• Create a browser-compat matrix doc section with known differences, impact, and workaround.
• Link the matrix from popup/help so support answers are reusable.

Research notes:

• Compatibility docs are most useful when tied to user-visible features (permissions, shadow DOM quirks, shortcuts).
• Keeping one canonical matrix reduces duplicate issue churn.

Implementation slice:

1. Add docs/browser-compat.md.
2. Seed with current known issues from open bug labels.
3. Link from README and extension help entry.
