Question about Radar altimeter waveform simulations

I saw related research on radar waveform simulation in this article ‘Radar altimeter waveform simulations in Antarctica with the Snow Microwave Radiative Transfer Model (SMRT)’. I am very interested in it, but I don’t know how to use code for waveform simulation. Is there any sample code or tutorial document? I would like to learn and refer to it.
