Problems while running Sofa in python3 environment

Hello,

I am new to the Sofa framework and I am trying to run the example scripts using a python environment, but when I try to run

python3 basic_addGUI.py

I get this error

Supported GUIs are: batch
[ERROR]   [GUIManager] GUI 'imgui' creation failed.  
Available GUIs: {batch}
[ERROR]   [GUIManager] GUI '' creation failed.  
Available GUIs: {batch}
[ERROR]   [GUIManager] Cannot set dimensions: GUI is not setup properly
[ERROR]   [GUIManager] GUI '' creation failed.  
Available GUIs: {batch}

Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Bonus: When I run the python file using runSofa it does work, so does it not work within a python environment anymore?

I guess you refer to https://github.com/sofa-framework/SofaPython3/blob/master/examples/basic-addGUI.py. What version of SOFA and SofaPython3 do you use? Is there import SofaImGui in your script?

@Bokoloco make also sure that your PYTHONPATH includes the path to SofaImGui site packages like : SOFA_v25.12.00_Linux-Python_3.12/plugins/SofaImGui/lib/python3/site-packages/
